Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment 2023: AGE AND EDUCATION ELIGIBILITY

Education Criteria 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics, along with either Chemistry, Biology, or Computer Science from a Board of School Education recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India
Date of Birth Criteria Between November 01, 2002, and April 30, 2006
Marital Status Criteria Only unmarried Indian males and females may apply. Applicants must submit a certificate of being unmarried at the time of enrollment. During the four-year tenure, Agniveers cannot marry, and if found to be married during this period, they will be dismissed from the program.

Visual Standards Without Glasses With Glasses

This table shows the visual standards for a person both with and without glasses. The “Better Eye” column represents the eye with the better visual acuity, while the “Worse Eye” column represents the eye with the worse visual acuity. The measurements are in Snellen fractions, which represent the distance at which a person can read letters on an eye chart. In this table, the person has a visual acuity of 6/6 in their better eye with or without glasses, but their worse eye has a visual acuity of 6/9 without glasses, which improves to 6/6 with glasses.

Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment 2023: SALARY, LEAVES AND SERVICE DURATION

Clause Details
Duration of Service Agniveers shall be enrolled in the Indian Navy under the Navy Act 1957, for a period of four years. “Agniveers would form a distinct rank, different from any other existing rank and would be the junior most rank in the Indian Navy”. Indian Navy is not obliged to retain the Agniveers beyond the engagement period of four years.
Leave 30 days leave per year shall be applicable for Agniveers. Additionally, sick leave would be applicable based on medical advice of competent medical authority.
 Pay, Allowances and Allied Benefits Agniveers will be paid a package of ₹30,000 per month with a fixed yearly increment. In addition, risk and hardship, dress and travel allowances will be paid.

Seva Nidhi Package On completion of their engagement period, Agniveers shall be given a one-time Seva Nidhi package comprising their monthly contribution along with matching contribution by the Government, as indicated below:

Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment 2023: EXAM PATTERN

  • The examination is computer-based and consists of 100 objective-type questions.
  • The questions are bilingual (in Hindi and English) and cover four sections: English, Science, Mathematics, and General Awareness.
  • The difficulty level of the question paper is that of 10+2.
